Dental Fillings

Dental Fillings
Sewa Dental offers tooth colored Fillings that match your teeth colour to make them look good as your natural tooth.
Dental fillings are a common treatment for cavities, which are small holes that can form in the hard outer surface (enamel) of your teeth. Cavities are caused by bacteria in the mouth that produce acid, which can erode the enamel and create a hole. If a cavity is not treated, it can continue to grow and cause more serious problems, such as an infection or tooth loss.
Composite fillings
- These fillings are made of a resin material that is similar in color to natural teeth. They can be used to repair small to medium-sized cavities and are more aesthetically pleasing than amalgam fillings
GIC Fillings
Glass ionomer cements (GICs) are clinically attractive dental materials that have certain unique properties that make them useful as restorative and luting materials. This includes adhesion to moist tooth structures and base metals, anticariogenic properties due to release of fluoride, thermal compatibility with tooth enamel, biocompatibility and low toxicity.
Light Cure is the ideal radiopaque, resin-reinforced glass ionomer restorative material. With excellent tooth adhesion, sustained fluoride release, high compressive strength, and command set, Light Cure is useful for a wide range of restorative applications.

Class 2 fillings
Class II restorations involve the removal of the marginal ridge of the tooth to provide a suitable access to caries. Using matrix, the band is required to build up the correct contour of proximal walls and create a healthy contact point.
Class II fillings are one of the most common restorations in dentistry, with interproximal decay on the rise in certain populations despite all modern preventive measures.
